Woolie Design started out as a group of outdoor lovers who knew nothing about wool but wanted to do something about all the wool that is being thrown away and burned. Claudio, Timo, Sebastian and Esmee, students from Lund University, are tackling the 2nd largest threat to health and well-being, just after air pollution, they saw an opportunity: to reduce noise and reduce waste. Woolie designs sound-absorbing wall and ceiling panels from Swedish waste wool for office spaces to reduce stress, improves productivity and positively impacts the environment.
